On May 22, 2007 the Company announced that Hans E. Vanden Noort, 48, currently the Company's Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, has been elected as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer effective June 1, 2007. Mr. Vanden Noort joined Rayonier as Corporate Controller in 2001, and was elected to his current position in August 2005. A copy of the press release announcing Mr. Vanden Noort's election is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference by reference herein.
