Outward remittances through the Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS) reached a record \$31.73 billion in financial year 2023-24, a 16.9 per cent increase year-on-year. This surge occurred despite higher Tax Collected at Source (TCS) rates being imposed on foreign remittances from October 1, 2023 onwards.

"The threshold limits from which TCS rates apply are on the higher side compared to regular business ticket sizes. TCS can also be claimed as refund while filing tax return, which is why there has been no impact on outward remittance," says T C Guruprasad, executive director, EbixCash.

Right exchange rate

The cost of money transfer has two components. "Pay heed to the total amount you pay in a transaction, which includes intermediary charges (the upfront fees) and the foreign exchange conversion rate," says Guruprasad.

The exchange rate can carry a hidden cost. On Google, check the mid-market exchange rate, the mid-point between the "buy" and "sell" rates in the global currency markets. "The mid-market rate is considered the most fair exchange rate. However, a lot of providers add a markup, which translates into a hidden fee as it's not shown transparently to customers," says SK Saraogi, Asia-Pacific head of expansion, Wise. Use comparison websites or tools to find the most competitive rates. "Avoid players that offer fixed daily rates and go with the ones that offer live rates," says Joy PV, senior vicepresident & country headdeposits, wealth, & banca,

The stock of United Spirits Limited (USL), the country's largest liquor company by market capitalisation (mcap), has gained 11 per cent over the past week on double-digit growth guidance, rising premiumisation trend, operationally in-line performance in the March (Q4FY24) quarter and a rally in consumer stocks. Nevertheless, near-term demand woes could be a cause for concern.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Ninety-Ninth (99") Annual General Meeting ("AGM'1 of the Company will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. {1ST) through Two-Way Video Conferencing (''VC'1 / Other Audio Visual Means (''OAVM") facility to transact the business as set out in the Notice calling the AGM.

Pursuant to relevant Circulars issued by Ministry of Corporate Affairs ("MCA") and the Securities and Exchange Board of India ("SEBI"), the Company is pennitted to hold the AGM through VC/OAVM, without the physical presence of the Members at a common venue.

In compliance with the said Circulars, the 99'" AGM of the Company is being held through VC/OAVM and the Notice of the 99'" AGM along with the Annual Report for Financial Year 2023-24 has been sent only through electronic mode to those Members whose e-mail addresses are registered with the Company/ National Securities Depository Limited and Central Depository Services (India) Limited ('lhe Depositones'1, The Notice of AGM along with the Annual Report is also available on the website of BSE Limited at www.bseindia.com, National Stock Exchange of India Limited at www.nseindia.com, National Securities Depository Limited ("NSDL'1 at www.evoting.nsdl.com and on the Company's website at www.raymond.in. The Company has engaged the services of NSDL for providing facility of voting through remote e-voting, participation in the AGM through VC/OAVM and e-voting during the AGM.

In compliance with the provisions of Section 108 of the Companies Act, 2013 read with Rule 20 of the Companies (Management and Administration) Rules, 2014, as amended from time to time, Regulation 44 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 and Secretanal Standard- 2 on General Meetings issued by The Institute of Company Secretaries of India:

राष्ट्रपतींना त्यांना भेटीसाठी बेळ दिली आहे. याबेळी एनडीएचे प्रमख नेते मिळून राष्ट्रपतींकडं सत्ता स्थापनेचा दावा करणार आहेत. संरक्षणमंत्री राजनाथ सिंह, केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री अमित शहा, भाजपचे राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष जेपी नड्डा हे सर्वजण मिळून सत्तास्थापनेबाब चर्चा करणार आहेत.

दरम्यान बुधवारच्या बैठकीत नेता निवडीचा ठराव मांडण्यात आला या ठरावात म्हटले होते की, भारताच्या १४० कोटी देशवासियांनी गेल्या १० वर्षांत पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदींच्या नेतृत्वाखाली एनडीए सरकारच्या लोककल्याणकारी धोरणांमुळं देशाच्या प्रत्येक क्षेत्राला विकसित होताना पाहिलं आहे. बऱ्याच काळापासून सुमारे ६ दशकांनंतर भारताच्या जनतेनं सलग तिसऱ्यांदा पूर्ण बहमतानं सशक्त नेतृत्वाची निवड केली आहे. २०२४ ची लोकसभा निवडणक एनडीएनं नरेंद्र मोदींच्या नेतृत्वाखाली एकजुटीनं लढली आणि जिंकली. आम्ही सर्वजण एनडीएचे नेते नरेंद्र मोदी यांना सर्वसंम तीनं आमचा नेता म्हणून निवड करतो. हा प्रस्ताव ५ जून २०२४ ला नवी दिल्लीत मंजूर झाला आहे.

२० फुट खोल खड्ड्यात टेम्पो कोसळून तिघे जखमी

ताबा सुटला. त्यामुळे वाहन रस्त्याच्या डाव्या बाजूला जाऊन चौपदरीकरणासाठी चालू असलेल्या पुलाच्या बांधकामाच्या ठिकाणी सुमारे २० फुट खोल खड्यातपडून हा अपघात झाला.

या अपघातामध्ये टेम्पोमध्ये बसून प्रवास करणारे तिघे जखमी झाले यामध्ये विवेक महादेव पेजे (वय ५०) यास उजव्या हाताला फ्रॅंक्चर होऊन गंभीर दखापत झालेली आहे. इशा रामचंद्र पेजे (वय ३२). कविता किशोर नागले (वय ४५) वर्ष यास किरकोळ दखापत झालेली आहे. सर्व जखमी कापडगाव येथील आहेत.

अपघाताची माहिती मिळताच पोलीस तात्काळ स्टाफसह अपघात ठिकाणी भेट दिली. जखमींना उपचारेकरिता जगदृरू नरेंद्राचार्यजी महार-ान संस्थानच्या रुग्णवाहिकेतून ग्रामीण रुग्णालय पाली येथे नेले. त्यानंतर पोलिसांनी महामार्गावरील वाहतूक सुरळीत चालू केली. या अपघाताबाबत पाली पोलीस दरक्षेत्र येथील पोलिसांना कळविण्यात आले.

अजित पवार गटाच्या आमदारांची घरवापसी?

झाल्या. सुप्रिया सुळॅंच्या विजयानंतर अजित पवार गटातील राज्यभरातील काही आमदारांनी त्यांना मेसेज करून शुभेच्छा दिल्या. तर अजित पवार गटातील १० नाराज आमदार हे शरद पवार गटामध्ये परत येण्याची शक्यता व्यक्त केली जात आहे.

अंजित पंवार गटाचे १० आमदार नाराज असून ते घरवापसी करणार असल्याचे म्हटले जात आहे. लोकसभा निवडणूक निकालानंतर ही परिस्थिती निर्माण झाली आहे. बारामतीमध्ये सुप्रिया सुळे यांचा विजय झाला आहे. त्यामुळे वेगवेगळ्या मतदारसंघातील अजित पवार गटाच्या आमदारांनी सप्रिया सुळे यांच्याशी संपर्क करत त्यांना शुभेच्छा दिल्यात. सुप्रिया सुळे यांना अनेक आमदारांनी शुभेच्छांचे मेसेज पाठवले. त्याचसोबत १० आमदारांनी सुप्रिया सुळे आणि शरद पवार गटाच्या नेत्यांशी संपर्क साधण्याचा प्रयत्न केला.

अजित पवार गटातील काही नाराज आमदारांना त्यांचे भवितव्य अंधारात दिसत असल्यामुळे ते अशापद्धतीने पुन्हा येण्याची शक्यता व्यक्त केली जात आहे. महाविकास आघाडीला लोकसभा निवडणकीत चांगले यश मिळाले आहे. महाविकास आघाडीचे राज्यात ३० खासदार विजयी झाले आहेत अजित पवार यांच्याकडे गेलेल्यांना या निवडणकीत पिछाडी मिळाली आहे अजित पवार गटाला फक्त एका जागेवर विजय मिळाला आहे. त्यामळे अजित पवार यांचे आमदार नाराज झाले आहेत. त्यामुळे हे आमदार घरवापसी करणार असल्याचे सांगितले जात आहे.

घंटा आहे. अर्थात यावेळी इतर पक्षांची साथ नरेंद्र मोदी घेऊ शकतात. मात्र २ बड्या नेत्यांनी साथ सोडली तर भाजपची डोकेदखी वाढू शकते. या शक्यतेत २९२-२८=२६४ एवढे संख्याबळ एनडीएकडे राहते आणि ८ जागा कमी पडतात. मात्र तिसऱ्या स्थितीत एनडीएकडे पूर्ण बहमत नसले तरी राष्ट्रपती त्यांना सरकार स्थापन मत घेणे यावेळी इंडिया आघाडीला करण्यासाठी आमंत्रण करतील आणि

बहमत सिद्ध करण्यासाठी आवश्यक असलेल्या ८ जागांची जुळवाजुळव करण्यात येईल, राष्टपती पंतप्रधानांना दिवसांचा कालावधी देऊ शकतात.

असे झाले तर मोदींचे काम सोपे होऊ त्यांच्या १६ जागा आहेत. इंडिया तर इंडिया आघाडीचा आकडा हा आता २ मोठे मित्रपक्ष एनडीए सोडन इंडिया आघाडीकडे गेले तर काय होऊ शकते? हेही पाहणे गरजेचे

नितीशकुमार इंडिया आघाडीत आले तर? वर सांगितल्याप्रमाणे नितीशकम यांना भारतीय राजकारणात

पलट्रराम हे नाव पडले आहे. बेडकउडी मारण्यात ते उस्ताद आहेत. उपपंतप्रधानपदासारखी मोठी ऑफर मिळाल्यास ते इंडिया आघाडीत जाऊ शकतात. त्यांच्याकडे १२ जागा आहेत. त्यामुळे इंडिया आघाडीचा आकडा २४६ वर पोहोच् शकतो. यानंतरही बहमताच्या आकड्यापेक्षा २८ जागा कमी पडतात. इतर पक्षांची आहे.

क्रमप्राप्त ठरेल चंद्राबाबू इंडिया आघाडीत आले तर?

तेलगू देसम पार्टी ही एनडीएमधील बहमत सिद्ध करण्यासाठी ३० ते ४० सर्वात मोठी दसरी पार्टी आहे ज्यांचे खासदार जास्त आहेत. म्हणजेच

आघाडीसोबत जर चंद्राबाबू गेले तर २६७ च्या घरात जातो. तरीही इंडियाचा आकडा २५०वर पोहोचतो. पण त्यानंतरही २२ जागा आघाडीला कमी पडतात. यावेळी इतर पक्षांची मदत घेणे इंडिया आघाडीला क्रमप्राप्त ठरणार आहे.

चंद्राबाबू आणि नितीशकुमार एकत्र आले तर?

सरकार स्थापन होण्याची शक्यता इंडिया आधाडीमध्ये चंद्राबाब् नायडू आणि नितीशकुमार हे दोन्ही नेते ही अधिक आहे. मोदी तिसऱ्यांदा सामील झाले तर इंडिया आघाडीचा पंतप्रधान होणार याचे स्पष्ट संकेत आकडा २६२ वर पोहोचतो. परंतु मिळत आहेत. राष्ट्रपती सर्वात मोठ्या तरीही इंडिया आघाडी बहमतापासून आघाडीला किंवा सर्वात मोठ्या दरब राहते. १० जागा त्यांना कमी पक्षाला सरकार स्थापन करण्यासाठी पडतात. पुन्हा एकदा वरील दोन आमंत्रित करतात त्यामुळे २४० जागा शक्यतांप्रमाणे इंडिया आधाडीला मिळवणाऱ्या भाजपला सत्ता स्थापन डतर पक्षांकडे याचना करावी लागणार. करण्यासाठी आमंत्रित करण्यात येईल.

जरी मित्रपक्षांनी साथ सोडली तरी आपल्या घटनात्मक अधिकारांचा चंद्राबाब, नितीशकमार+पासवान शेवटच्या गणिताप्रमाणे इंडिया वापर करून राष्ट्रपती भाजपला सरकार आघाडीचे सरकार स्थापन होण्याची स्थापन करण्यासाठी आमंत्रित करतील दाट शक्यता आहे. नितीशकुमार, असा राजकीय निरीक्षकांचा अंदाज आहे. एकदा का सरकार स्थापन झाले चंद्राबाबू नायडू यांच्यासोबत राम विलास पासवान यांची लोकजनशक्ती की मोदींना बहमत मिळवण्यात फारशी

या अपघाताची माहिती मिळताच राजापूर पोलीस निरीक्षक राजाराम ाशी व काही दुनाकीस्वार आपल्या दुचाकी लावून थांबले होते. तर एक चव्हाण, उपनिरोक्षक मोमीन शेख यांसह कालीस देखील उभी होती. भरधाव कर्मचाऱ्यांनी तात्काळ घटनास्थळी धाव वेगात आलेल्या या टकने तेथे उभ्या घेतली व अपघातग्रस्तांना मदत केली व पंचनामा केला. तर स्थानिक ग्राम असलेल्या चार दुचार्कीना व कालीसला स्थांसह राजापूर शहरातील सामाजिक नोरदार धडक दिली. यावेळी वेगाने ठ्रक येत असल्याचे लक्षात येता तेथे उभ्या कार्यकर्ते तसेच अनेकांनी अपघा-असलेल्या अनेक प्रवाशांनी आपला तस्थळी व राजापूर ग्रामीण रूग्णालयात जीव वाचविण्यासाठी पळापळ केली. धाव घेत जखमींची विचारपूस केली मात्र यात या ठीकाणी उभ्या असलेल्या व अपघातस्थळी पोलीसांना सहकार्य सुदेश चंद्रकांत फाटक यांना जोरदार केले राजापूर शहरालगत झालेल्या या

सुदेश चंद्रकांत फाटक (४५) रा. घटनास्थळी धाव घेत अपघातग्रस्तांना शील रेश्मा दिगंबर फाटक, शुभ्रा प्रफ आहेत. भरधाव वेगात येणाऱ्या या

धडक बसल्याने ते जागीच ठार झाले तर अन्य काही प्रवाशी जखमी झाले. अपघाची माहिती मिळताच अनेकांनी पुढे या ट्रकने कालीस गाडीला देखील अपघातस्थळी धाव घेतल्याने या ठिकाणी गर्दी झाली होती. मात्र हा जोरदार धडक दिल्याने या कालीस म धील चार जण गंभीर जखमी झाले. अपघात कसा झाला याचे कारण स्पष्ट या अपघातात गंभीर जखमी होऊ शकलेले नाही. भरधाव वेगात

पोलिस बालंबाल बचावले उभ्या असलेल्या प्रवाशांमध्ये मिहिर या अपघाताच्या अगोदर काही मिलींद धुळप (१३) रा. कॉंढेतड क्षण राजापूर पोलीस स्थानकाच्या ११२ याच्या डोक्याला दुखापत झाली आहे. या गाडीचे चालक प्रसाद शिवलकर व या पाचही जणांवर राजापूर ग्रामीण पोलीस कर्मचारी श्रीमती निता वरक रूग्णालयात उपचार करून अधिक हे पेट्रोलिंगसाठी या भागात गेले होते. उपचारासाठी रत्नागिरीत हलविण्यात त्यांनी अपघात झाला त्या ठिकाणाच्या काही अंतरावरच आपली गाड़ी उभी आले आहे.

किरकोळ जखर्मीध्ये ट्रक चालक केली होती, मात्र गाडी उभी करताना अंबालाल श्रीरामजी बाट (४५) रा त्यांनी रस्त्याच्या बाजुला योग्य रित्या

उमेश सुर्वे (१८) रा. मुंबई सध्या रा. व क्रालिसला धडक दिली. कर्तव्यावर असलेल्या या दोघांनीही क्षणाचा विलंब न लावता तात्काळ धाव घेत जखर्मीना बाहेर काढत रूग्णालयात नेले. तर तात्काळ पोलीसांना याबाबत माहिती दिली.

मतदान प्रक्रियावर नि:पक्ष व पारदर्शक पद्धतीने देखरेख ठेवण्यासाठी/पार पाडण्यासाठी परीनिरीक्षक म्हणून कंपनीने श्री. दिनेश देवरा किंवा त्यांच्या अनुपस्थितीत टी. कौशिक, भागीदार, डीएम ॲन्ड असोसिएट्स कंपनी सेक्रेटरीज एलएलपी यांची परीनिरीक्षक म्हणून नेमणूक केली आहे.

ई-मतदान/एजीएममधील मतदानाचा निकाल एजीएमच्या समाप्तीपासून दोन कार्यालय कामकाजाच्या दिवसांत घोषित करण्यात येईल. घोषित निकाल परीनिरीक्षकांच्या अहवालासमवेत कंपनीच्या नोंदणीकृत कार्यालयात प्रदर्शित करण्यात येईल तसेच कंपनीची वेबसाइट, एनएसडीएलच्या वेबसाइटवरही प्रदर्शित करण्यात येईल व कंपनीच्या प्रतिभूती सूचिबद्ध असलेल्या स्टॉक एक्सचेंजेसना कळविण्यात येईल
