Extension of Non-renounceable Entitlement Issue Closing Date

Following the announcement on Friday 5 May 2023 of the Non-renounceable Entitlement Issue to raise approximately A$1.4 million by Eastern Metals Limited ABN 29 643 902 943 (ASX: EMS) (EMS or Company), EMS is pleased to announce that the Closing Date of its Entitlement Issue has been extended to Friday, 9 June 2023.

The extension of the Closing Date, originally Friday 2 June 2023, has been made to allow those Eligible Shareholders who have not elected to receive communications from the Company electronically more time for the documentation sent to them by mail to arrive, and for all Eligible Shareholders more time to consider their participation.

Each free unlisted New Option to be issued for every two New Shares acquired, exercisable at $0.10, expiring 3 years after the Closing Date unless previously exercised, will now expire on 9 June 2026 not 2 June 2026.

Subject to the Corporations Act, Listing Rules and other applicable laws, the Company reserves the right to alter any or all of these dates, including to extend the Closing Date or close the Entitlement Issue without further notice. A change to the Closing Date may cause other dates to change.

The Directors also reserve the right not to proceed with the whole or part of the Entitlement Issue at any time prior to the allotment, in which case, the relevant Application Monies will be returned without interest.

Defined terms used in this announcement have the same meaning as in the Company’s Prospectus dated Friday 5 May 2023, unless expressed otherwise.
