Rakon (RAK) Chief Operating Officer Appointment

Rakon Limited (‘Rakon’) announces that Sinan Altug has commenced his role as Chief Operating Officer based in New Zealand, effective 22 January 2020.

As reported in July 2019 when Sinan’s appointment was first announced, this position has been created to focus on leading, aligning and driving Rakon’s global operations to best meet customer demand and profitable growth.

Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Brent Robinson says: “I am pleased that Sinan is now able to assume the role and I look forward to working more closely with him as we position the company for the future.”

Sinan Altug has over 22 years’ experience in frequency controlled products, with over 17 years with Rakon, most recently as Managing Director of Rakon’s European businesses.

Over the next few months Sinan will divide himself between Rakon’s operations in New Zealand, Europe and India before relocating to New Zealand in April.
