RAISIO'S DIAGNOSTICS BUSINESS TRANSFERRED TO BIOCONTROL

Raisio plc Stock Exchange release, 6 September 2007 RAISIO'S DIAGNOSTICS BUSINESS TRANSFERRED TO BIOCONTROL The transaction of Raisio's diagnostics business to BioControl Systems Inc. has been completed and the shares of all diagnostics group companies have been transferred to the new owner. BioControl Systems Inc. is a US company that is established in 1985. The company has approximately 75 employees. The diagnostics business employs 70 people who are employed by the new owner under the terms of their current employment contracts. The transferred diagnostics business has operations in seven countries. Raisio published a stock exchange release on 3 September 2007 concerning the sale of its diagnostics business to BioControl.
