CORONAVIRUS IMPACT SE Asia sees heaviest losses in sell-off

THE S&P 500 Index may have witnessed its quickest correction ever, but one of the biggest stock-market victims of the coronavirus epidemic has been Southeast Asia.

The tumble this week has pushed equity benchmarks of Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines to rank among the world's 10 worst-performing major markets this year. Panic selling has taken the MSCI Asean Index more than 17% below a high reached in July.

The region's heavy reliance on China for trade and tourism means the disruptions caused by the virus are dealing a bigger blow to its economy. All six of Southeast Asia's biggest economies count China as their top trading partner. Open capital accounts also don't help when fear grips markets.

"The markets are starting to price in an escalation in Covid-19 from a regional epidemic to

a global pandemic," said Alan Richardson, a regional fund manager at Samsung Asset Management in Hong Kong. Southeast Asia equities are getting hurt more than others 'because they don't have closed capital accounts', he added.

The virus epidemic is growing at a rapid pace in countries outside of China. The number of confirmed infections has exceeded 2,300 in South Korea while more cases appeared in Italy, Iran and Kuwait. Nigeria confirmed on Thursday the first reported infection in sub-Saharan Africa, a day after Brazil had the first in Latin America.

Sebi slaps ₹17-lakh fine on Motilal Oswal for not segregating clients' funds

FE BUREAU Mumbai, February 28

THE SECURITIES AND Exchange Board of India (Sebi) on Friday imposed a penalty of ₹17 lakh on Motilal Oswal Financial Services (MOFSL) for failing to maintain segregation of client's funds and misuse of client funds, violating its circular dated November 18, 1993.

The Sebi circular of 1993 says: "It shall be compulsory for all member brokers to keep the money of the clients in a separate account and their own money in a separate account. No payment for transactions in which the member broker is taking a position as a principal will be allowed to be made from the client's account."

Sebi said that in the showcause notice (SCN) it was alleged that on 11 days out of 20 sample days (approximately 55% of the total selected sample days), the noticee (MOFSL) had 'misutilised' the funds of credit balance clients lying with MOFSL and the value of misutilised credit balance clients' funds ranged from ₹5.01 crore $(3%$ approx) to $\overline{3}102.06$ crore (46%) approximately) for the sample dates.

"On the basis of above mentioned, inspection alleged that there were instances where MOFSL had indulged into intermingling/misuse of clients' funds," Sebi said in its order. The period of inspection was from April 1, 2012 to March 31,2014.

ಕಲಬುರಗಿ ನಗರದ ಐವಾನ್-ಎ-ಶಾಹಿ ಅತಿಥಿ ಗೃಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಸುದ್ದಿಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಕಳೆದ ಬಾರಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ 300 ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಸೇರಿ ತೊಗರಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಕ್ರಿಟಲ್ಗೆ 6,100 ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಬೆಲೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ವರ್ಷ ಉತ್ತಮ ಮಳೆಯಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಕಲಬುರಗಿ, ಬೀದರ, ವಿಜಯಮರ, ರಾಯಚೂರು, ಬಾಗಲಕೋಟೆ ಮುಂತಾದ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಇಳುವರಿ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಹೆಚ್ಚೆಚ್ಚು ಖರೀದಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂಬುದು ರೈತರ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಇದೆ. ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಕೋರಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಕಲಬುರಗಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ

ತಲೆದೂರಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರವಾಹ ಸಂಬಂಧ 2.5 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಅನುದಾನ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಹಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಜೇವರ್ಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಫಜಲಮರ ನೆರೆ ಪೀಡಿತ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಾತ್ತಾಲಿಕ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು. ` ಹಲವು ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಖಾಲಿ ಇರುವ ಕಲ್ತಾಣ

ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಆಯವ್ನಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೋಕೋಪಯೋಗಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ 15 ಸಾವಿರ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಅನುದಾನ ತೆಗೆದಿರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮನವಿ ಸಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ನೆರೆ ಹಾವಳಿಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಅಂದಾಜು 7021 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಗಳ ರಸೆ. ಸೇತುವೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಾನಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಕಳೆದ ವರ್? ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ 9450 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಅನುದಾನ ಹಂಚಿಕೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ನೆರೆ ಹಾವಳಿಗೆ ಹಾನಿಗೀಡಾದ ರಸ್ತೆ, ಸೇತುವೆಗಳ ದುರಸ್ತಿಗಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಅನುದಾನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ 15 ಸಾವಿರ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಇಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.

ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶುಕ,ವಾರ ಸುದ್ದಿಗಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು. ದೊರೆಸ್ರಾಮಿ ಅವರು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕಂಡಂತಹ ಅಪರೂಪದ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಸ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರಾಗಿ, ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತರಾಗಿ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಹಾಗೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೋರಾಟದ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತ ಸರಕಾರದಿಂದ ಆಗಿರುವ ಅನ್ಯಾಯ ಗಳನ್ನು ಸರಿಪಡಿಸುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

3.5 ಲಕ್ಕ ಮನೆ ವಿತರಣೆ

ಮೈಸೂರು: ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ 3.5 ಲಕ್ಷ ಮನೆ ವಿತರಣೆಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ವಸತಿ ಸಚಿವ

ವಿ.ಸೋಮಣ್ಣ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಶುಕ,ವಾರ ಮೆ,ಸೂರಿನ ಚಾಮುಂಡಿಬೆಟ್ನಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡುತಿರುವ ಅಂಗಡಿ ಮಳಿಗೆ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದದ ಬಳಿಕ

ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರೆ ಸಂತ್ರಸ್ತರಿಗೆ ಮನೆ ವಿತರಣೆ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣನ ಲೆಕ್ಕ ಹೋಗಿ, ರಾಮನ ಲೆಕ್ತ ಮಾತ್ರ ಉಳಿದಿದೆ. ಮೊದಲು 15 ಲಕ್ಷ ಮನೆ ವಿತರಣೆ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಬಂದಿತು. ಆಧಾರ್, ಬಿಪಿಎಲ್, ಎಪಿಎಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ಗಳನ್ನ ಲಿಂಕ್ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಆ ನಂತರ ಮನೆಗಗಳ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ 15 ಲಕ್ಷದಿಂದ 6 ಲಕಕ್ಷೆ ಬಂತು. ಇದೀಗ 3.5 ಲಕ್ಷ ನಿಜವಾದ ಸಂತ್ರಸರಿಗೆ ಮನೆ ವಿತರಣೆಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಜೂನ್ ಅಂತ್ಯದ ಒಳಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಮನೆ ವಿತರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಸಿಎಂ ಬಿ.ಎಸ್.ಯಡಿಯೂರಪನವರ ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಜಿ ಸಿಎಂ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರು ದೊಡ್ಡತನ ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದರು.

ಬಂಡೂರಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ತ್ವರಿತ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯ 5.15 ಕಿಮೀ ಕಳಸಾ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ

ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ: ಮಹದಾಯಿ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಕರಣದ ಅಧಿ ಸೂಚನೆ ಹೊರಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದು, ಕಳಸಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದುವರೆಗೆ 5.15 ಕಿಮೀ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಕಳಸಾ ಯೋಜನೆ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಇದುವರೆಗೆ 198 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಖರ್ಚು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಇನ್ನು 120 ಮೀಟರ್ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಬಾಕಿಯಿದೆ. ್ಲಿ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, ಮಹದಾಯಿ ತಿರುವು ಯೋಜನೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಗೋವಾ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮತೆ ತಗಾದೆ ತೆಗೆದು ಸುಪ್ರೀಂಕೋರ್ಟ ಮೊರೆ ಹೋಯಿತು. ತಡೆಯಾಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನೂ ತಂದಿತು.

ಇದೀಗ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ಕಳಸಾದಿಂದ 4 ಟಿಎಂಸಿ. ಬಂಡೂರಿಯಿಂದ 3.56 ಟಿಎಂಸಿ ನೀರು ಪಡೆಯುವ ಯೋಜನೆ ರೂಪಿಸಿ, ಅದು ಅಂತಿಮ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೇ ನೀರು ಹಂಚಿಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಂದದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ 44.15 ಟಿಎಂಸಿ, ಗೋವಾ 147 ಟಿಎಂಸಿ, ಮಹಾ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ 7.57 ಟಿಎಂಸಿ ಪಾಲು ಲಭಿಸಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಜಲ ಆಯೋಗದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಿದು ಬರುವ 1.5 ಟಿಎಂಸಿ ನೀರು ಬಲಸಲು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿದೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಗಡಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಹರಿಯುವ ಕಳಸಾ ಮತು ಬಂಡೂರಿ ಹಳ್ಳದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಮಲಪ್ರಭಾ ನದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದಿದರೆ ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿ- ಧಾರ ವಾಡ ಜನತೆ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗೆ ಶಾಶ್ರತ ಪರಿಹಾರ ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಸವದತಿ, ಗದಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ನರಗುಂದ, ರೋಣ, ಧಾರವಾಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ನವಲಗುಂದ ಸೇರಿ ಅನೇಕ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀರು ಹರಿಸಬಹುದು. ಮಹದಾಯಿ ಯೋಜನೆ 1978ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿದ್ಧಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು. ಆದರೆ, 2002ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಿಂದ ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಅನುಮತಿ ಸಹ ದೊರೆತಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ,

ಗೋವಾ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಮುಳುಗಡೆಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ತಡೆಯೊಡ್ತಿತು. ಕಳಸಾ– ಬಂಡೂರಿ ನೀರಿನ್ನು ಬೇರೆಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿದರೆ ನೂರಾರು ಎಕರೆ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಿಗೆ, ಪರಿಸರಕ್ಕೆ, ಜೀವಸಂಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಧಕ್ಕೆಯಾಗುತದೆ ಎಂದು ಗೋವಾ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪ ಎತಿದೆ.

ಗೋವಾ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಸಹ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಕರಣ ರಚಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಮುಂದಿಟ್ಟಿತು. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನವೆಂಬರ್ $16$ , 2010 ರಂದು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಕರ ರಚನೆಯಾಯಿತು. ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧೀಕರಣ ಎದುರು ಗೋವಾ 60 ಹಾಗೂ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ25 ಅಂಶಗಳ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಣೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದೆ. ಈ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಕರಣದ ಅವಧಿ ಐದು ವರ್ಷಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇದೇ ವರ್ಷ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಗಿದೆ.ರಾಜ್ಯ ಇದೀಗ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ಕೇವಲ 7.56 ಟಿಎಂಸಿ ನೀರನ್ನು ಬಳಸಲು ಮಾತ್ರ ಬಳಸಲು ಮುಂದಾಗಿದೆ. ಮಹದಾಯಿ ನದಿಯ ನೀರನ್ನು ಮಲಪ್ರಭಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ನೀರನ್ನು ನವಿಲುತೀರ್ಥ ಅಣೆಕಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ಹಾಗೂ ನೀರಾವರಿ ಉದ್ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಬಳಸಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. 1972 ರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗಿರುವ ಸವದತ್ತಿ ಬಳಿಯ ನವಿಲುತೀರ್ಥ ಜಲಾಶಯ 44 ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದುವರೆಗೆ ಕೇವಲ 5 ಬಾರಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ತುಂಬಿದೆ.

ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿಸದ ಶಾಲೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕ್ಷಮ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿಸದ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಶಾಲಾ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಿಗೆ ಉಳಿಗಾಲವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಕನ್ನಡ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಟಿ.ಎಸ್

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಅನ್ನ ನೀಡುವ, ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ನೀಡುವ ಭಾಷೆ ಅನ್ನೋದು ಶುದ್ಧ ಸುಳ್ಳು. ಅಮೇರಿಕಾ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿದ ರಾಷ್ಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂದಾದರೆ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಅನ್ನ ಕೊಡುವ ಭಾಷೆ ಹೇಗೆ. ಸದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅನ್ನ ಕೊಡುವ ಭಾಷೆ ಯಾವುದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಸಿಗುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಬೇಕು ಆಗಕನ್ನಡಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪಾಯಎದುರಾಗದು. ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಖಾಸಾಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿಸುವುದು ಕಡ್ಡಾಯ ಎಂಬ ಆದೇಶವಿದೆ. ಆದರೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿಸಲು ಖಾಸಾಗಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಹಿಂಜರಿಯುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಹೀಗೆ ಮುಂದುವರೆದರೆ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಉಳಿಗಾಲ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು. ಇಂದಿನ ಯುವ ಸಮೂಹ ಕಲೆ, ಸಂಸ್ಥತಿ ಯಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ವಾಟಪ್, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳಿಗೆ ದಾಸರಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕಲೆ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ, ಸಂಗೀತದ ಬೀಡು ನಮ್ಮದು. ಜನಪದ ಎಂದರೇ ಜನರ

ಪೌರತ್ವ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡೆ ಕಾಯ್ದೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅಪ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಬೆಳೆ ಬೇಯಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹಾಕಿರುವದು ಕಾಂಗೆ,ಸ್ನ್ ವಿಚಾರ ಧಾರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿನ: ಬೇರೆಯವರಿಗಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು.

ಪಾಕಿಸ್ಥಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಾಂಗ್ಲಾದೇಶದಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಅಲ್ಲ ಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರಿಗೆ ಪೌರತ್ತ ನೀಡಬೇಕು

ಎಂದು ಮಾಹಾತ್ಮಾಗಾಂಧಿ, ಇಂದಿರಾಗಾಂಧಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಮನಮೋಹನ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರು. ಮಹಾತ್ಮಾ ಗಾಂಧಿ, ಇಂದಿರಾಗಾಂಧಿ, ಮನಮೋಹನ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಅವರ ವಿಚಾರಧಾರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಮೋದಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮನ್ನಣೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆದ ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳಿಂದ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಹೋರಾಟ ನಡೆದರೂ ಗಲಭೆ ಆಗಿಲ್ಲ ಆದರೆ, ಅಮೇರಿಕಾದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಟ್ರಂಪ್ ಬರುವ ವೇಳೆ ಗಲಭೆ ಉಗ್ರರೂಪ ತಾಳಲು ಕಾರಣವೇನು? ಶಾಂತಿಯುತ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟ ನಾಕಾರರ ಮಧ್ಯ ಪಿಸ್ತೂಲ್, ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳು, ಬೆಂಕಿ ಊಂಡಿ, ಶಸ್ತಾಸ್ತಗಳು ಹೇಗೆ ಬಂದವು? ಇದರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ನ ಕೈವಾಡವಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದರು.

ಅಲ್ಲದೇ, ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಹಾಗೂ ದೆಹಲಿ ಗಲಭೆಗೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷವೇ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಗಲಭೆ ಹಿಂದೆ ಎಸ್.ಡಿ.ಪಿ.ಐ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಿ.ಎಫ್.ಐ ಈ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ಪಾತ್ರ ಇರುವುದು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಿಂದ ಬಹಿರಂಗವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ನಿಷೇಧವಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು.

ಇದೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಹಂಪಿ ವೀರುಪಾಕ್ಷೇಶ್ವರನ ಆರ್ಶೀವಾದ ಇದೆ. ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ವಿಜಯನಗರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಆಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಆರಣ್ಯ ಖಾತೆ ಸಚಿವ ಆನಂದ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಅವರು ಗಂಗಾವತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುದ್ದಿಗಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಈ ಭಾಗದ ಜನರ ನೂತನ್ವಿಜಯನಗರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುದು ಕನಸಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಕನಸು ನನಸು ಮಾಡಲು ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಸಿದ್ಧವಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ನೂತನ

ವಿಜಯನಗರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಆಸೂಯೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಆಸೂಯೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೇ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಇಲ್ಲ ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಸಚಿವನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ನವರಿಗೆ ಅಸೂಯೆ ಇರಬಹುದು ಎಂದರು.

ಕಳೆದ ಒಂದು ವಾರದಿಂದ ತೀವ್ರ ಅನಾರೋಗ್ಯದಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಷ.ಶೆಟ್ಟರ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಸಾಗರ ಅಪೋಲೋ ಆಸತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಫಲಕಾರಿಯಾಗದೆ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಜಾವ 3 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಕೊನೆಯುಸಿರೆಳೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಭೂಪಸಂದ್ರ ದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅವರ ನಿವಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂತಿಮ ದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕೆ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಸಂಜೆ ಅಂತ್ಯಸಂಸ್ಕಾರ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
