NOTICE is hereby given that the Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM") of the Members of the Quess Corp Limited ("the Company") will be held on Thursday, August 08, 2019 at 03:00 P.M. at Novotel Hotel, Opposite RMZ Ecospace Business Park, Sarjapur Outer Ring Road, Bengaluru - 560103, to transact the business as set out in the Notice convening the said EGM.

The said Notice of the EGM along with the Proxy Form and Attendance Slip has been sent to the Members whose names appeared in the Register of Members/ Register of Beneficial Owners as on close of business hours on July 11, 2019 as maintained by Depository Participants/ Registrar & Share Transfer Agent of the Company (R&T Agent) through permitted mode.

E-VOTING INFORMATION: In compliance with Section 108 of the Companies Act, 2013 read with Rule 20 of the Companies (Management and Administration) Rules, 2014, as amended from time to time, Regulation 44 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 and Secretarial Standard on General Meetings ("SS-2") issued by the ICSI as amended from time to time, the Company is pleased to provide its Members, the facility to exercise their right to cast their vote by electronic means In respect of the Resolutions as set out In the Notice calling EGM, through e voting services ("remote e-voting") as provided by National Securities Depository Limited ("NSDL") at the link https:// www.evoting.nsdl.com.

The remote e-voting period shall commence on August 05, 2019 at 09:00 A.M. and ends on August 07, 2019 at 05:00 P.M. The remote e-voting module shall be disabled by NSDL for voting thereafter. Once, the vote on Resolutions is cast by the Members, the Members shall not be allowed to change it subsequently.

A talk on The Sexual Harassment of women at workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 was organized at Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies, Harihar. Advocate & Ex-Judgement Writer, Mr. Vamana Murthy delivered the talk and shared his experience with the students. He explained about the law on sexual harassment in India, offences under the Indian Penal Code and relevant punishments. Making the talk more interesting, he referred to some of the live cases. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪಕ್ಷಿ ನವಿಲಿನ್ನು ಮಾಂಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಶಿಕಾರಿ ಮಾಡುವ ದಂಧೆ ಎಗಿಲ್ತದೆ ತಾಲೂಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತಿದೆ ದಂಧೆಕೋರರ ಬಲೆಗೆ ನೂರಾರು ನವಿಲುಗಳು ಬಲಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಾಂಸಹಾರಿಗಳ ಪಾಲಾಗುತಿವೆ.

ಗರಿಬಿಚ್ಚಿ ನಾಟ್ತವಾಡುವ ನವಿಲನು ನೋಡುವುದೇ ಒಂದು ಸಂಭ್ರಮ. ಈ ಕಾರಣ ದಿಂದಲೇ ಈ ನಾಟ್ಯ ಮಯೂರಿಗೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪಕ್ಷಿಯ ಮನ ಣೆಯೂ ದೊರೆತಿರುವುದು. ಇಂತಹ ನವಿಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ವಾರಾಂತ್ರದ ಮೋಜು ಮಸಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗುವವರ ಕಣ್ಣು ಬಿದ್ದಿದೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ಕ್ರೇಜ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಾಯಿ ರುಚಿಗಾಗಿ ನವಿಲು ಮಾಂಸಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಗಿ ಬಿದಿದಾರೆ.

ಮಧ್ಯವರ್ತಿಗಳಿಂದ ಗುಪ್ತ ವ್ಯವಹಾರ: ಇದರ ಲಾಭ ಪಡೆದು ಹಣ ಮಾಡಲು ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಕೆಲವು ಕಿಡಿಗೇಡಿಗಳು ನವಿಲು ಬೇಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಒಂದು ನವಿಲನ್ನು 1500 ರಿಂದ 2500ರೂ. ವರೆಗೂ ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ರಾಷ್ಟಪಕ್ಷಿ ಹರಣ ಮಾಡಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿ ಬಿದ್ದರೆ ಕಾನೂನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಠಿಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಖಚಿತ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದಿರುವ ದಂಧೆಕೋರರು ಸಿಕ್ಕ ಸಿಕ್ಕವರಿಗೆ ನವಿಲು ಮಾಂಸ ಪೂರೈಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

ನವಿಲು ಮಾಂಸ ಹಾಗೂ ನವಿಲು ಹೊಡೆಯಲು ಬಳಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ನಾಡ ಬಂದೂಕನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.

ನಂಬಿಕಸ್ಥ ಮಧ್ಯವರ್ತಿಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಗುಪ್ತ ವ್ಯವಹಾರ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಮಾಂಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನವಿಲನ್ನು ಹತ್ತೆ ಮಾಡಿದವರನ್ನು ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಹುಲಿಯೂರುದರ್ಗ ಹೋಬಳಿ ಸೆಣಬ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಸುತ್ತುಮುತ್ತ ತೋಟ ಹಾಗೂ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನವಿಲು ವಿಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿದಾಗ ನಾಡಬಂದೂಕಿನಿಂದ ಗುಂಡು ಹೊಡೆದು ಸಾಯಿಸಿ ನಂತರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನವಿಲು ಮಾಂಸದ ಅಡುಗೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ತಿಂದು ಮಜಾ ಮಾಡುವ ಚಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ಈತ ರೂಢಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಎಂದು ಅರಣ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆರೋಪಿ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸನಿಂದ ಬಂದಿಸಿ 2.5 ಕೆ.ಜಿ.

ಮಾಡಿಲ್ಲವಾದರೂ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಅಂದಾಜಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ನವಿಲುಗಳು ಇವೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ರೈತರ ಹೊಲಗದ್ದೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನವಿಲ ಹಿಂಡು:

ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಅಪಾರ. ಅವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೇಳಲು ಗಂಟೆಗಳು ಸಾಲದು. ಅವರು ಕಟಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಯುಗವನ್ನ ನಾವು ಮತ್ತೆ ನೋಡಬೇಕು. ಮತ್ತೆ ಸುವರ್ಣಯುಗವನ್ನ ನಾವು ನೋಡಲು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಯೋಜನೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ. ನಾವು ಮುಂದಿನ ಯುವ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಯುಗವನ್ನ ಈಗಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚಾರಣೆಯನ್ನ ಆರಂಭ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಮೈಸೂರು ರಾಜವಂಶಸ್ಥ

ಮೊದಲ ಮಗನಾಗಿ ಕಷ್ಟ ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅದು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಬೇಡ, ಅದನ್ನ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳುವ ಸಂದರ್ಭವು ಅಲ್ಲ. ಜಯಚಾಮರಾಜ ಒಡೆಯರ್ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಅಪಾರ. ಅವರ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂದರು.

ಜನಶತಾಬಿ

ಮೊದಲ ಮಗ ಆಗಬೇಡ, ಕೊನೆಯ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಬೇಡ ಅಂತ ನಮ್ಮಕನ್ನಡ ಮೇಷ್ಟು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

ನಾನು ಮೊದಲ ಮಗನಾಗಿ ಹುಟಿದೇನೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಕೊನೆಯ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಜಯಚಾಮರಾಜ ಒಡೆಯರ್ ಜನ್ಮ ಶತಾಬ್ದಿ ಪ್ರಮೋದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ,ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ದೇವಿ ಒಡೆಯರ್, ರಾಜಮನೆತನ ಹಿಂದಿನಿಂದಲೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮನ್ನಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಆದರಲ್ಲೂ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಇದನ್ನ ನಾವು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ನವರು ಇದನ್ನ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ನಂದಿ ವಿಗ್ರಹಕ್ಕೂ ನಮಗೂ ಸಂಬಂಧವಿಲ್ಲ

ಅರಸಿನಕೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಂದಿ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳು ಸಿಕ್ಕ ವಿಚಾರ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಿದ ಯದುವೀರ್, ಅದಕ್ಕೂ ರಾಜಮನೆತನಕ್ಕೂ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಇದೆ ಆದರೆ ಅದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಮಗೆ ಇನ್ನು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲ. ನಂದಿ ವಿಗ್ರಹವನ್ನ ಹೊರ ತೆಗೆದಿರೋದು ಖುಷಿ ತಂದಿದೆ.ಇನ್ನೆರಡು ಮೂರೂ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡ್ತೇನೆ. ಅದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಪರಂಪರೆ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಗೆ ನಮ ಅಮನವರ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಪೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ತೆರೆದಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರ ದಿಂದ ಕೋರಿಕೆ ಬಂದೆ, ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಡಲು ಸಿದ್ಧ. ಆಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ 10 ಚಾಮರಾಜ ಒಡೆಯರ್ ಯಾವುದೂ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗೆ ಪೂಜೆ ಸಲ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಇದೆ. ಅರಮನೆಯ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳು ,ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಕೆಲಸ. ಇದನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರದವರೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ನಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಏನಾದರೂ ಸಹಾಯ ಬೇಕಿದ್ದರೆ ಅರಮನೆ ಯಾವಾಗಲು ತೆರೆದ ಬಾಗಿಲು ಎಂದರು.

ಅವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿದರು. ಶತಮಾನೋತ್ಸವ ಸಂಭ್ರ ಮದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿವಿ 2020ಕ್ಕೆ ಶತಮಾನೋತ್ತವ ಘಟಿಕೋತ್ಸವಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಯಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಆದರಿಂದ ಈ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿರುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಹ್ರಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಆಹ್ವಾನವನ್ನು ಸಂತಸದಿಂದಲೇ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು, ಕಾರ್ಯದೊತ್ತಡ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿ ಆಗಮಿಸುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸದ್ಯದಲ್ಲೇ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸುವ ಆಶ್ವಾಸನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯ ನಡೆದು ಬಂದ ದಾರಿ, ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಬಗೆಗಿನ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಕುಲಪತಿ ಪ್ರೊ.ಜೆ.ಹೇಮಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಈ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯವು ಶತಮಾನೋತವವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯೂ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಮೋದಿ, ಮುಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು. ಇನ್ಷಿಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಎಮಿನೆನ್ ಪ್ರಾಜೆಕ್ಟ್ ಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ದೇಶದ ಕೆಲ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರಕಾರ ಅನುದಾನದ ನೆರವು ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ರವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯೂ ಸಹ ಸಾವಿರ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ.ಗಳಿಗೆ ಈ ಹಿಂದೆಯೇ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಮರು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ವಿವಿಯ ಕುಲಪತಿ ಪ್ರೊ.ಹೇಮಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಮಂತ್ರಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೋರಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಲಪತಿಗಳು ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವ ವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಕಾಫಿ ಟೇಬಲ್ ಬುಕ್ ಅನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
