Qube Brookfield consortium completes acquisition of Patrick

The joint venture between Qube and Brookfield Infrastructure (and its co-investors) today completed its acquisition of all of the shares in Asciano Holdings (Containers) Pty Limited, the entity that holds Asciano’s Patrick’s Terminals business.

The joint venture partners have appointed Mr Michael Jovicic as CEO Patrick Terminals.

Qube Managing Director Maurice James said, “I am delighted that the lengthy process of acquiring the Patrick terminal business is now completed and we are looking forward to working closely with our partners and the management team at Patrick.”

Completion of the scheme of arrangement in relation to Asciano occurs tomorrow Friday 19[th] August.
