QSC, Deutschlands führender alternativer Anbieter von Breitband-Infrastruktur auf DSL-Basis, hat eine Kooperation mit Cable & Wireless Deutschland vereinbart. Mit Kunden in 70 Ländern ist Cable & Wireless ein weltweit führender Anbieter von integrierten Kommunikationsdienstleistungen. Die Cable & Wireless plc, London, erzielte im Geschäftsjahr 1999/2000 (z. 31.3) einen Umsatz von über 9 Mrd. Pfund. Cable & Wireless wird zunächst in Hamburg und München die Produkte von QSC anbieten. Zielkunden sind neben den ca. 4500 Geschäftskunden auch Reseller und Internet Service Provider. Im kommenden Jahr wird Cable & Wireless sein Angebot auf ganz Deutschland ausdehnen. Bis zum 28.11.2000 hatte QSC 38 Städte an ihr Netz angeschlossen und bereits weit über 6000 Leitungen abgesetzt. QSC (QSCG), a leading German alternative provider of DSL-based broadband infrastructure, has signed a partnership deal with Cable & Wireless Germany. Offering its products in 70 countries, Cable & Wireless is one of the world’s foremost providers of integrated communications services. Cable & Wireless plc, London, accounted revenues of more than 9 bln pounds in the fiscal year 1999/2000. Initially, Cable & Wireless will offer QSC’s products in Hamburg and Munich. Besides about 4500 business customers, the products will also be targeted at resellers and Internet Service Providers. In the year ahead, Cable & Wireless will extend its coverage to the rest of Germany. QSCs network now links 38 German cities; a total of 6000 lines have been sold to date.
