Spanish Government approves merger of Family Zone and Qustodio
On May 2, 2022, Family Zone announced an agreement to acquire global parental controls leader Qustodio subject to a number of pre-completion conditions .

We are pleased to confirm that the final condition being the Spanish Government’s Council of Ministers approval has been received, approving the transaction. Accordingly, with no conditions remaining, completion is anticipated to occur on or about August 1, 2022.
This merger firmly establishes Family Zone as a global leader and the only truly global provider of online safety solutions. The group is growing strongly off a base of $75+ million in recurring revenue, with circa 500 staff located in Australia, UK, US, New Zealand and Spain (post Qustodio acquisition).
The opportunity for the group is remarkable with online safety and wellness being hot issues in education, growing quickly and attracting increasing public funding. With a global footprint and 10 telco global partnerships the Company is also set for significant expansion outside of its core English speaking markets in coming years.
Integration well advanced
Integration of the Qustodio product with Family Zone’s US educational offering has been undertaken in expectation of a successful Spanish Government determination.
