NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR DECLARATION

QinetiQ Group plc announces that Michael Harper, Deputy Chairman and Senior Independent Non-Executive Director, notified the Company on 16 October 2013 that he will retire as Non-Executive Chairman of BBA Aviation plc with effect from the end of that company's Annual General Meeting in May 2014.

This notification is made in accordance with paragraph 9.6.14R of the Listing Rules.
