Appointment of Deloitte LLP as Auditor

PZ Cussons plc ("PZ Cussons" or the "Company") today announced that the Board has approved the proposed appointment of Deloitte LLP as external auditor for the financial year commencing 1 June 2017. This follows the conclusion of a competitive tender process led by the Audit & Risk Committee. The appointment of Deloitte is subject to shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting to be held in September 2017.

PwC, the Company's present external auditor, will continue to undertake the audit for the current financial year.

The Board extends its thanks to PwC for the support and services which it has provided over the course of its appointment.
