Change to the Board of Directors

Retirement of Non-executive Chairman

PZ Cussons plc ("PZ Cussons" or the "Company") today announces that Richard Harvey will retire as Non-executive Chairman of the Board on 31 December 2016 as part of his plans to retire to New Zealand.

The Company has begun the process of identifying a successor and will update the market later in the year.

Alex Kanellis, Group CEO of PZ Cussons, said:

"On behalf of my colleagues on the Board and across the whole business, I would like to thank Richard for the very significant contribution which he has made since his appointment in 2010. His support, enthusiasm and wise counsel have been tremendously valuable over that time.
