'Give Blood & Save Lives' Campaign

PYX Resources Ltd (NSX: PYX | LSE: PYX), the world's second largest publicly listed zircon producer by zircon resources, is pleased to announce that its sustainability subsidiary, PYX Cares, has for the third year partnered with the Indonesian Red Cross Society in its annual Indonesian National Blood Donor Day.

An impressive 63% of local employees (54 people) from PYX's Indonesian subsidiary company, PT Investasi Mandiri, participated in the blood donor event, which took place at the Company's factory in Tumbang Empas village.  The annual global blood drive aims to raise awareness of the importance of regular and voluntary blood donation. Indonesia currently depends on family and friends' blood donations to subsidise the shortfall of blood supplies; with a population of c. 200 million, one in three Indonesians are estimated to need blood in their lifetime.

Commenting on the scheme, Oliver Hasler, Chairman and CEO of PYX Resources, said:

"According to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), one blood donation can save as many as three lives. With this background, we were delighted to support the Indonesian National Blood Donor Day for the third successive year and would like to thank the local community for their enthusiasm and support too.
