Director Resignation

PERTH, AUSTRALIA: November 28[th] , 2016 – Phylogica Ltd (ASX: PYC, XETRA: PH7) announces that Dr Doug Wilson has resigned as a Non-Executive Director, effective from the AGM on 25[th] November 2016.

Dr Wilson has been a Director of Phylogica since December 2007, became an Executive Director in December 2008 and Executive Chairman in 2009. He became Non-executive Chairman in November 2012, in which capacity he remained until October 2015, continuing thereafter as a Non-executive Director until his resignation.

During his career, Dr Wilson had held senior positions in international pharmaceutical firms and still consults widely in the medical and biotechnology industries. His knowledge and skills have been extremely valuable to Phylogica in developing its peptide libraries into potential oncology drug candidates and its cell penetrating peptide delivery platform, which are generating significant interest in the pharmaceutical industry.

The board wishes to express its deep appreciation of the contribution which Dr Wilson has made to its operation and, on behalf of shareholders, for his contribution to the development of the Company to its present position.
