ITEM 7.01 REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE

On January 15, 2008, Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation issued a press release stating that the Company would be updating at an investor conference its earnings per share guidance for the fourth quarter and full year 2007 and its revenue guidance for the fourth quarter 2007 and the full year 2008, and reaffirming its earnings per share guidance for the full year 2008. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
