The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– PVA TePla AG: Changes on the Board of Management / Annual Report for 2003 Asslar, March 31, 2004: At its annual accounts meeting the PVA TePla AG Supervisory Board appointed Arnd Bohle to the Board of Management effective as of April 1, 2004. Bohle will initially assume responsibility for some aspects of financial management. Nina von Wersebe is leaving the Board of Management for family-related reasons on June 17, the same day the annual general meeting is scheduled to take place. At that point in time Bohle will assume full responsibility for the company’s financial management. The consolidated financial statement, bearing an unqualified audit opinion and approved by the Supervisory Board, is being published today on the company’s website together with the PVA TePla AG Annual Report for 2003 and can be downloaded from there. The figures for business year 2003 correspond for the most part to the tentative figures published in the ad hoc release of March 2, 2004: sales revenues for the group were EUR38.9 million; the operating result (EBIT) was EUR-5,5 million; contained in this were restructuring costs in the amount of EUR1.2 million. The consolidated net loss for the year was EUR-2.9 million. The Board of Management will provide a detailed presentation of the financial figures at the annual accounts press conference being held at the DZ Bank in Frankfurt on April 6, 2004.
