POSITIVE PROFIT ALERT

This announcement is made by Putian Communication Group Limited (the “ Company ”, and together with its subsidiaries, the “ Group ”) pursuant to Rule 13.09(2) of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited and Inside Information Provisions under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap. 571 of the laws of Hong Kong).

The board of directors of the Company (the “ Board ”) wishes to inform the shareholders of the Company and potential investors that, based on the preliminary review by management of the Company on the unaudited consolidated management accounts of the Group for the six months ended 30 June 2018, it is expected that the Group will attain a significant increase in the profit attributable to owners of the Company achieved for the six months ended 30 June 2018 as compared with that recorded for the corresponding period in 2017.

The significant increase in the profit attributable to owners of the Company achieved by the Group for the six months ended 30 June 2018 is primarily attributable to the increase in the revenue generated from the sales of optical fiber cables, structured cabling system products and communication copper cables.

This announcement is only based on the unaudited consolidated management accounts of the Group for the six months ended 30 June 2018 which are still being finalised. The interim results announcement of the Group for the six months ended 30 June 2018 will be published on 31 August 2018.
