Berlin, 20 November 2008 - The PSI AG has been awarded by a major German
Gas supplier with the delivery of a complete gas management system for its
entire German pipeline network. The solution ordered is based on the
PSIcontrol V7 control system, which has extensive functionalities for the
requirements of the liberalized gas market. The total volume of the project
is more than 8 million euros.
PSI expects additional major contracts with similar volumes from other
European and Russian gas suppliers in the coming quarters. Russian energy
providers, in particular, are continuing to accelerate investments in the
expansion of their domestic and cross-border energy networks.
PSI AG develops and integrates individual solutions, on the basis of its
own software, for the management of energy networks (electricity, gas, oil,
heat, water), cross-company production management (steel, mechanical
engineering, automotive, logistics) and infrastructure management for
telecommunications, transport and safety. PSI was founded in 1969 and
