PSI Sells Business Unit Telecommunications

The PSI AG, Berlin, sold their business unit telecommunications, which was
previously part of the subsidiary PSI Transcom GmbH to the consulting
company SEVEN PRINCIPLES AG. The business unit telecommunications of PSI
Transcom is an IT service provider with about 35 employees in network and
service management for telecommunications providers. With this step, PSI is
continuing to focus on software products for energy utilities, heavy
industry and transport infrastructures.

With the integration of the PSI business unit telecommunications with one
of the leading providers of IT services in the telecommunications market
results to a new attractive perspective for customers and employees. Within
the PSI group there were no technical and sales synergies to the core
business. Parallel to the sale PSI has made additional investment in the
new control system for the extraction of raw materials, which was developed
on the basis of the PSI energy control system technology during the course
of the year. In mid-December, the new control system got acceptance from
the pilot customers so that PSI now expects further orders from the pilot
customers and other interested companies from Europe, China and Australia.

PSI AG develops and integrates complete solutions, on the basis of its own
software products, for the management of energy networks (electricity, gas,
oil, heat, water), cross-company production management (metals, automotive,
mechanical and plant engineering, mining, logistics) and infrastructure
management for transport and safety. PSI was founded in 1969 and employs
