Juni 2000 – Die PSI AG, Berlin, hat heute die Gründung der PSIPENTA Automotive GmbH angekündigt. In diesem Zusammenhang übernimmt das Berliner Softwarehaus den langjährigen Kooperationspartner und Automotive-Spezialisten SOFTSYSTEMS Scheufele & Happe GmbH, Bochum zu 100%. Mit der PSIPENTA Automotive GmbH mit Sitz in Gelsenkirchen etabliert die PSI AG ein Automotive Competence Center und unterstreicht die strategische Ausrichtung als Anbieter auch von Business-Lösungen für die Automobilzuliefer-Industrie. PSI und die Tochter PSIPENTA Software Systems GmbH stellen bereits seit 1987 die Kompetenz als Lösungsanbieter im Automotive-Umfeld in Deutschland und international bei einer Vielzahl von Unternehmen unter Beweis. Die PSIPENTA Automotive GmbH betreut künftig direkt die Kunden beider Partner. Hierzu zählen unter anderem die Weidmann AG (Schweiz), August Läpple GmbH & Co KG, GKN Gelenkwellenbau GmbH, Pilkington Flachglas AG (Pilkington Automotive Deutschland GmbH), Dunlop (Dunlopillo Automotive GmbH), Behr (Behr Thermottronic GmbH & Co) oder auch SKF (CR Elastomere GmbH). In this context the Berlin-based software company is taking over 100% of their cooperation partner and automotive specialist SOFTSYSTEMS Scheufele & Happe GmbH, Bochum. With PSIPENTA Automotive GmbH, headquartered in Gelsenkirchen, PSI AG is establishing an Automotive Competence Center and emphasises the strategic orientation as a provider of business solutions for the automotive industry. PSI and the subsidiary PSIPENTA Software Systems GmbH have been demonstrating their competence as a solution provider in the automotive sector in Germany, and internationally, for a number of companies since 1987.
