PSI Wins Major Orders in Energy from Germany and Czech Republic
Corporate news transmitted by DGAP – a company of EquityStory AG. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— PSI Wins Major Orders in Energy from Germany and Czech Republic The PSI AG has won a number of important orders in the electrical energy sector in the past few months from both Germany and abroad. Amongst these are two major control systems contracts from EnBW Regional AG and the Czech ČEZ Distribuce and three more orders from Germany. The previous network control system of EnBW Regional AG in Esslingen, which was originally erected for the grid for the former Neckarwerke Stuttgart, is being expanded to become the 110 kV and medium voltage network for the entire EnBW grid in Baden-Württemberg, with a number of control stations. ČEZ Distribuce has also charged PSI with the realization of a very large system. ČEZ Distribuce is a merger of a number of Czech distribution network operators containing the northern section of the Czech Republic. The new system will carry the 110 kV grid, the medium voltage and the low voltage grids. To this end, a number of control stations have been erected. The local service will be provided by a Czech partner company. The orders from the regional utilities E.ON Mitte AG, HEAG Südhessische Energie AG (HSE) and NRM Netzdienste Rhein-Main GmbH proof the demand for cross bracing control systems for electricity networks and pipelines. Subject of the orders from E.ON Mitte and HSE is the renewal of existing PSI control systems, which are extended in the context of the project also by pipeline functions. With these orders PSI has again solidified its good market position in the field of Electrical Energy and proven the competitiveness of PSI products over strong international competition. The total volume of the orders is over 15 million euros. In addition, PSI has won numerous orders for extension of existing systems with new functions in the course of the last few months. The use of PSI products represents a strategic component for efficient network operation for energy supply customers. PSI AG develops and integrates individual solutions, on the basis of its own software, for the management of large networks (electricity, gas, oil, telecommunications, transport), cross-company production management (steel, machinery/plant construction, automotive, logistics) and information management for government and service providers. PSI was founded in 1969 and employs more than 1,000 persons in the group. www.psi.de PSI AG Karsten Pierschke Cmmunications and Investor Relations Dircksenstrasse 42-44 10178 Berlin Germany Tel. +49 30 2801-2727 Fax +49 30 2801-1000 E-Mail: [email protected] (c)DGAP 08.08.2006 ————————————————————————— Language: English Issuer: PSI Aktiengesellschaft Dircksenstraße 42-44 10178 Berlin Deutschland Phone: +49 (0)30 2801-0 Fax: +49 (0)30 2801-1000 E-mail: [email protected] WWW: www.psi.de ISIN: DE0006968225 WKN: 696822 Indices: Listed: Geregelter Markt in Frankfurt (Prime Standard); Freiverkehr in Berlin-Bremen, Stuttgart, München, Hamburg, Düsseldorf End of News DGAP News-Service —————————————————————-
