Market Update: Pryme completes Early Milestones in Plastic Waste Processing

Pryme N.V. is pleased to report recent progress in the hot commissioning of its first plastic waste advanced recycling plant.

Successful Receipt and Storage:

During May and June, Pryme received and securely stored two batches of Densified Plastic Waste (DPW) in our storage bunkers, demonstrating efficient handling capabilities.

Hot Commissioning Success:

A significant milestone was reached on Thursday, June 29th, with the successful hot commissioning of one of our extruders, leading to the production of Melted Plastic Waste (MPW).

Ongoing Commissioning and Optimization:

In July, Pryme's operations team will continue the hot commissioning and feeding optimization for the two installed extruders. The anticipated reactor feeding with MPW from our extruders is scheduled for August, paving the way for subsequent first production of Liquid Plastic Waste (LPW, also referred to as pyrolysis oil).

Pryme remains dedicated to advancing its plastic waste advanced recycling solutions and will provide further updates on these developments in the Q2/H1-2023 report to be published on August 23rd , 2023.
