Christopher Hervé resigns as Pryme's CEO

Rotterdam, March 20, 2024

Mr. Christopher Hervé today handed in his resignation from the position as CEO of Pryme N.V. (the "Company") to Pryme's supervisory board. Christopher will remain in his role as CEO until July 31, 2024 in order to ensure a smooth transition to his successor. The supervisory board has initiated a search for his successor; an update will be provided when appropriate.

On behalf of the entire Company, Henning Jensen said: "It is with both sadness and gratitude that I announce that Chris has handed in his resignation from his position as Chief Executive Officer of Pryme. I would like to thank Chris for his energy, dedication and commitment to Pryme since he took over the CEO position, a period in which the Company has made big steps towards its goal of becoming a significant player in the advanced recycling space. The Company would not have been where we are today without Chris' efforts. That is especially valid for the significant achievement of starting up production at Pryme One, Pryme's first plant and the largest advanced recycling plant in Europe. The Company respects and understands Chris' personal priorities while at the same time regretting Chris' decision. I wish Chris all possible success with his future endeavors and again thank Chris for his tremendous contributions to Pryme."

Christopher Hervé said: "It has been a unique opportunity to bring together a passionate and dedicated team of industry veterans to pioneer the construction and startup of Europe's largest advanced recycling plant, now in operation. Our initial production phases have validated the huge potential of Pryme' technology, with our electrically heated reactor consistently producing odorless, free-flowing dry ash with no wax formation observed during subsequent condensation steps. These outcomes offer a promising outlook for our ramp-up activities and underscore Pryme's potential to introduce a disruptive recycling technology serving as a crucial bridge to circular plastics. I will continue to lead Pryme's ramp-up efforts until this summer, fully confident in our team's commitment to deliver and with the continued support of the board and our shareholders."
