DATE OF BOARD COMMITTEE MEETING

The board of directors (the “ Board ”) of Prudential plc (the “ Company ”) announces that a meeting of a committee of the Board will be held on Monday, 10 August 2020 at 1 Angel Court, London, EC2R 7AG, United Kingdom, at which the committee of the Board will, among other matters, approve the 2020 Half Year Results of the Company and its subsidiaries, and consider payment of a 2020 first interim dividend. It is expected that the announcement of the 2020 Half Year Results will be released at or around 4:30 p.m. (Hong Kong time) on Tuesday, 11 August 2020.
