Director's Shareholding

The Company has been informed that Roger McDowell, Non-Executive Director, today purchased 500,000 ordinary shares of 1p each a price of 37.474 pence per share. Following this transaction, Mr. McDowell holds in 500,000 ordinary shares in Proteome Sciences, representing approximately 0.23 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
