Protector Forsikring ASA will not launch a formal offer for Unison Forsikring ASA

We refer to our announcement dated 30 May 2010 when

Protector Forsikring ASA announced an intention to

launch a voluntary offer for all outstanding shares

in Unison Forsikring ASA. However, following the

announcement made by Sparebank 1 Skadeforsikring AS

to offer NOK 14 per share, before adjusting for the

planned rights issue in Unison, Protector has decided

to withdraw and formally not launch an offer. Hence,

the shareholders in Unison that have pre-accepted

Protector's offer, are free to accept the offer from

Sparebank 1 Skadeforsikring AS instead.
