  • Prosafe SE is a permanent tax resident in Norway. As of end 2021, the company has deferred tax asset of approximately USD 1.9 billion, which can be utilized as tax deduction in the future and not recognised in the accounts.
  • The company will from time to time operate in countries where local taxes will apply. These taxes are included in the opex assumptions in this presentation.
  • Prosafe has an outstanding tax enquiry with UK HMRC that is yet to be concluded. Prosafe has provided for USD 8 million in the accounts to cover the exposure.
