Cancellation of General Meeting and Change to Timetable for Rights Issue

Cancellation of General Meeting

As announced by ABM Resources NL (“the Company”) on 30 March 2016, BNP Paribas Nominees Pty Limited (“Requesting Shareholder”) has withdrawn the notice it provided to the Company under section 249D of the Corporations Act 2001 on 18 February 2016, requisitioning a general meeting of the Company. The Company will therefore not be putting the resolutions the subject of that notice to shareholders and has cancelled the General Meeting that was to be held at 2pm on 18 April 2016 at BDO Audit (WA) Pty Ltd.

Change to Timetable for Rights Issue

The Company would also like to take the opportunity to further inform shareholders in relation to changes to the timetable for the rights issue that was first announced on 9 March 2016.

The Company announced on 17 March 2016 that changes to the timetable for its rights issue had been made in order to allow time for the Takeovers Panel to conduct proceedings in respect of an application made by APAC Resources Capital Limited. These proceedings are continuing, so in order to allow further time for them to be resolved, the Company has again changed the timetable for its rights issue as outlined below.

As shown in the revised timetable, the Company currently expects that it will post the offer document and entitlement and acceptance form for the rights issue to shareholders on 13 April 2016.
