Change of Directorship

The Directors of Tantalum Australia NL (the Company) announce the appointment of Timothy King as Chairman of the Board. Timothy will replace Kim Robinson who has resigned as a director.

Kim is Executive Chairman of Kagara Zinc Ltd and has decided to relinguish his non executive involvement with several public companies including TAA. Kagara has recently commissioned its zine processing plant at the Mt Garnet project in Queensland which is demanding considerable executive input.

Timothy King has been a director of the Company since 1998 and has made a significant contribution to the development of the Company since his appointment.
