Pro Medicus announce retirement of Director

Leading health imaging company Pro Medicus Limited [ASX: PME] today announced that Mr Roderick Lyle has indicated his intention to retire from the Pro Medicus Board at the conclusion of the Company’s Annual General Meeting on 14 November 2017.

Mr Lyle has informed the Board that, as he is soon to assume a Chair role in the education sector and a directorship of a foreign listed mining company, he will no longer have sufficient time to continue dedicating to the Company at a level which PME shareholders expect and deserve.

Mr Lyle has been a Director since November 2010 and has contributed greatly to the development of the Company’s strategy which has led to its success in recent years. He has also provided strong support to the Company’s management team particularly utilising his considerable legal and professional skills.

Company Chairman, Peter Kempen said “Rod Lyle has provided great support to the Board and the management team, particularly when the company was experiencing some significant headwinds early in his tenure. I would like to express my sincere thanks for his outstanding service as a director.”

Mr Lyle said "I am proud of what PME has achieved since I joined the Board in 2010, and to have played a small part in that success. I intend to remain a long-term shareholder in PME following my retirement from the Board because I have great faith in the Company's future. I have a high regard for the Board and the management team, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have served."
