CI RESOURCES LIMITED – MARKET UPDATE

The Board of CI Resources Limited (ACN 006 788 754) (Company or CI Resources) wishes to provide further advice to the market update released on 26 April 2019, where the Board had advised reduced sales volumes due to the current softness in our fertiliser market.

The Company advises that the weaker market has affected our production, which for the year to date, March 2019 is down 17% on the prior year. In the period January to February, a planned shutdown was undertaken, however as a result of the weaker demand, the shutdown was extended into March, production was resumed in April.

The Company is expecting the lower production and sales to impact on the full year results. The extent of the impact will be determined by sales volumes in the last quarter of the year.

The Board remains committed to the Company ’ s objective to profitably maximise mine life and employment on Christmas Island, diversify its business interests, and pursue growth opportunities to maximise shareholder value.
