PNC ADDS TWO INDEPENDENT DIRECTORS

In compliance with Regulation 17(1)(b) of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 the Company has appointed Sunil Alagh and Karan Ahluwalia as Additional Independent Directors on the Board of the Company with effect from April 6, 2021.

Mr Alagh has a distinguished 30 year corporate experience starting with ITC Ltd. He was Managing Director and CEO of Britannia Industries Limited from 1989 to 2003. He has, since, been a Senior Advisor to AXA, France, a Member on the Advisory Board of Vikasincs Ecotech Ltd and on the Executive Committee of FICCI. Earlier, he was also a Member of the Board of Governors of IIM Bangalore and IIM Indore, the Governing Council of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, Member of the Round Table on Higher Education of the Ministry of HRD, and the Prasar Bharti Board. He is, presently, on the Board of United Breweries Ltd and Indofil Industries Ltd. He is founder and Managing Director of SKA Advisors Pvt Ltd.

Mr Ahulwalia was, till recently, Senior President and Country Head, Media & Entertainment, Fine Arts, Luxury & Sports Banking Group of Yes Bank. As part of the founding team at the bank, he was instrumental in setting up, developing and managing the portfolio on customizing financial solutions for the media and entertainment, sports and luxury sectors. Prior to Yes Bank, he was part of the founding team at Rabo India where he has worked across the corporate finance, investment banking, marketing and strategic business initiatives functions. He began his career with ANZ bank.

PNC already has Raghu Palat, Pradeep Guha and Hema Malini as Independent Directors on its Board. It also has Pallab Bhattacharya as the CEO on its Board and Rangita Pritish Nandy as Creative Director. The founders, Pritish Nandy, Chairman, and Rina Pritish Nandy remain Non-Executive directors.
