ASX Announcement
New Artisanal Gold Rush on Laterite Hill Goldfield
Predictive Discovery Limited ( ASX: PDI ) announces that a large gold rush has occurred at the Madyabari artisanal site within the Laterite Hill Goldfield in its Eastern Burkina Faso Gold Project (Figure 1). The site is 8km north-east of the previously drilled Dave Prospect (Figure 1). There has not been any past drilling at Madyabari and PDI has scheduled the first drill program in December 2012.
Company geologists inspected the site recently and estimate that there are at least 5,000 people there. Artisanal miners are thought to have been drawn to the site from a radius of at least 80km. The gold rush commenced in July 2012, during the rainy season. Prior to that time, there were no more than 20 persons at the historic workings.
The gold rush was sparked by discovery of gold-bearing quartz veins which appear to be very high in grade. The new workings now cover an area approximately 500m long and 200m wide, and the artisanal miners are either exploiting or testing for flat dipping veins. Three veins are reported by the artisanal miners and there may be many more below.
There is a very large processing camp on site (Figures 2 and 3), indicating that a significant quantity of gold has already been recovered.

PDI has now started geological mapping at Madyabari in preparation for a small RC drilling program in December. This represents a high grade gold target and therefore fits with the Company’s strategy of testing high grade gold targets in the Eastern Burkina Faso 3,000m drilling program which is now scheduled to commence on approximately 10[th] December 2012.

PDI is confident that it will be able to drill within the area of active artisanal workings because of its strong relationship with the artisanal gold buying group, SOMIKA, which manages security on the site. SOMIKA is PDI's partner on the Bangaba permit.
About Predictive Discovery:
Predictive Discovery Limited (PDI) was established in late 2007 to explore for gold and uranium. The Company is focused principally on exploration for gold in West Africa with one additional gold project in Australia. PDI has a distinctive technological capability, known as Predictore [TM] , which is designed to increase drill targeting efficiency thereby reducing ore discovery cost. The Company’s major focus is in Burkina Faso, West Africa where it has assembled a substantial regional ground position totalling 1,544km[2] and is exploring for large open-pittable gold ore deposits.
