Frédéric Mey is appointed Chairman of the Management Board of Precia S.A. as of 2nd May 2022

The Supervisory Board of Precia S.A., which met on 7 April 2022, has appointed Frédéric Mey as Chairman of the Management Board of Precia S.A. with effect from 2 May 2022.

A graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and the Corps des Ponts et Chaussées, Frédéric Mey has spent his career in industrial groups with a strong international dimension, where he has held general management positions for over 15 years.

René Colombel, the current Chairman of the Management Board, will continue in his role until 2 May 2022. He has agreed to accompany Frédéric Mey on his arrival in the Group before retiring on 1 October 2022. The Supervisory Board would like to thank René Colombel for his commitment to the Precia Molen Group since 2004 and as Chairman of the Management Board since 2010. In particular, the Supervisory Board welcomed René Colombel's transformation of the Group into a world leader in weighing instruments, with almost 44% of its turnover generated outside France by 2021.

About Frederic Mey

Frederic Mey is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and the Corps des Ponts et Chaussées. He began his career at the Ministry of the Economy and Finance. In 1999, he joined the General Inspection of BNP Paribas before being appointed Director of Strategy and Development for the Rolled Products Division of the Pechiney group in 2001. In 2003, he became Administrative and Industrial Director of the same division before being promoted to Managing Director of Pechiney d'Alcan Aviatube in 2007. In the context of the disposal of Alcan Engineered Products (Constellium), Frédéric Mey became Chairman and CEO of ECL, a world leader in the design, manufacture and commissioning of critical equipment for aluminium production. In 2015, he joined Eurotradia International, a consulting firm specialised in international business development. In 2017, he took over the management of the Titanobel Group, which specialises in the production, distribution and use of explosives for civil use.
