In continuation to our earlier press release dated 5th August, 2021, we wish to further inform that the Company has been declared as the "Successful Bidder" in respect of Bhaskarpara Coal Mine in the 121 ^htranche of auction of Coal Mines under Coal Mines (Special Provisions) Act, 2015 for commercial mining vide letter dated 7th September, 2021 issued by the Nominated Authority, Ministry of Coal. Copy of the letter is attached herewith.

This is in terms of Regulation 30 of SEBI (listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 for your information and record.

Subject: Declaration of Successful Bidder of Bhaskarpara Coal Mine

Dear Mr. Ashok Kumar Chaturvedi,

I am pleased to inform you that Prakash Industries Limited has been declared as the Successful Bidder in respect of Bhaskarpara coal mine (the "Coal Mine") in the l2¹ h tranche of auction of coal mines under Coal Mines (Special Provisions) Act 2015 for commercial mining in the country.

This declaration is in pursuance of directions of the Government of India vide Office Memorandum No. PS2-13016/2/2021-PS2 dated August 24, 2021 under the provisions of Coal Mines (Special Provisions) Act, 2015 read with Rule 10 (10) of Coal Mines (Special Provisions) Rules, 2014, the Tender Document dated March 25, 2021, Technical Bid dated June 25, 2021 and the Final Offer submitted by the Successful Bidder i.e. 55.75 % of the revenue share, for the Coal Mine.

Pursuant to Clause 3.3.2 (g) of the Tender Document, you are required to depute an Authorised Signatory to execute the Coal Mine Development and Production Agreement on the date and time to be communicated shortly.

The Authorised Signatory should be present at the aforementioned time and place along with: (a) original documents confirming identity of such person along with a self-attested photocopy ; (b) original certified true copy of a resolution passed by the board of directors of the Successful Bidder authorising the Authorised Signatory to execute the Agreement on behalf of the Successful Bidder and do all such acts as may be necessary or incidental

thereto; and (c) any other related document to confirm identity and authority of the Authorised Signatory.

The Authorised Signatory should also procure a set of 2 (Two) e-stamp papers of Rs. 500/ each, for execution of the Agreement at New Delhi and submit the same at the time of execution of the Agreement.

You are encouraged to make this auction for commercial mining of coal a bigger success by bringing the Coal Mine into early production and contributing to the cherished goal of Atmanirbhar Bharat. While the responsibility of obtaining clearances to bring the Coal Mine into production lies with the Successful Bidder, Office of Nominated Authority has set up a Project Monitoring Unit to assist the Successful Bidder in obtaining various clearances. Further, a Single-Window clearance mechanism has been devised for faster online processing of applications for clearances.
