Appointment of employee representative to supervisory board

Pursuant to the rules of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, d.d., Ljubljana and applicable legislation, Sava Re d.d., Ljubljana, makes the following announcement:

Following the resignation of Mateja Živec as an employee representative on the supervisory board, the Sava Re workers’ council carried out a candidate selection process and, in its meeting of 30 November 2021, appointed Edita Rituper as a new employee representative to the supervisory board. Her term of office runs from 1 January 2022 to 12 June 2023.

Edita Rituper holds a degree in economics from the University of Maribor. She has devoted her entire career to the insurance and reinsurance industry. She gathered experience, including in leadership roles, at Zavarovalnica Triglav and Vzajemna Zdravstvena Zavarovalnica. In April 2008, Edita Rituper joined the Sava Insurance Group. From 2008 to 2012, she was a parent company representative at various subsidiaries of the Group (in Montenegro and Serbia). From 2012 to 2015, she served on the management board of Sava Neživotno Osiguranje (Serbia), and from 2015 to 2017 as the chair of the management board. In addition, she has extensive supervisory experience within the Group. From 2009 and until recently, she was a non-executive member of the board of directors of Sava Osiguranje (Montenegro), where she also served on the audit committee. From 2019 and until recently, she was also a non-executive member of the board of directors of both Kosovo insurers. In July 2019, Edita Rituper joined Sava Re as sustainability coordinator in the office of the management board in charge of social responsibility and coordination of sustainable development at the Group level.
