PostNL announces intention to reappoint Pim Berendsen as CFO

The Supervisory Board of PostNL intends to reappoint Pim Berendsen for a new term of four years as Chief Financial Officer and member of the Board of Management at the annual general meeting of shareholders (AGM) in 2022.

Jan Nooitgedagt, Chair of the Supervisory Board, said: "We're very pleased that Pim is available for a new term at PostNL at this important stage of its transformation into the leading postal and e-commerce logistics provider in, to and from the Benelux area. In his role as CFO in the last couple of years, Pim has overseen major steps to strengthen the balance sheet and to secure a solid financial position in order to achieve PostNL's transformation. With his indepth knowledge, experience and drive, Pim is very well positioned to lead these and other developments."

Pim Berendsen (1973, the Netherlands) was appointed CFO and member of the Board of Management on 18 April 2018 for a four-uear term. Since 2000, he has worked in various roles at PostNL, including as Finance Director and as Managing Director for International, M&A and growth. Pim is a member of the Advisory Board of Endeit Investment Fund, a non-executive board member at Whistl, and Chair of the Johan Cruyff Foundation.
