Exercise of Options

The Company announces that on 9 April 2013, Lawrence Bryan, Chief Executive, exercised options under The Portmeirion 2002 Share Option Scheme to subscribe for a total of 70,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at an exercise price of £3.745 each.   Following the exercise, Mr Bryan holds an interest in 396,523 Ordinary Shares representing 3.76% of the issued share capital of the Company with voting rights.  The Company has transferred 70,000 shares from shares held in treasury by the Company in respect of the above exercise. 

In addition, the Company announces that on 9 April 2013, employees (including one recent former employee) of the Group exercised options under The Portmeirion 2002 Share Option Scheme to subscribe for a total of 44,000 Ordinary Shares at an exercise price of £3.745 each.  Accordingly, 44,000 new Ordinary Shares will be issued.

Application has been made for 114,000 Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and trading of these shares is expected to commence on or around 16 April 2013.

The total number of Ordinary Shares now held by the Company in treasury is 340,518.  The Company has 10,878,154 Ordinary Shares in issue and 10,537,636 Ordinary Shares with voting rights following this notification.
