Changes in Ponsse Plc’s regional management

Ponsse’s subsidiary in the United Kingdom has appointed as its managing director Dean Robson. Robson will replace Gary Glendinning, who takes up a post as area director. Tuomo Moilanen has been appointed area director for Germany.

Dean Robson, 30, has been appointed managing director of Ponsse UK Ltd, effective as of January 1, 2018. Robson comes to his new position from Ponsse UK’s sales. He joined Ponsse in 2004, and during his time with the company to date has worked in spare parts and machine sales. He is located at Ponsse UK’s office in Lockerbie, Scotland. The company’s new premises in Annan, Scotland will be operational by the end of the year.

Ponsse UK Ltd’s current managing director Gary Glendinning, 47, has been appointed Ponsse Plc’s area director for Ponsse Hungary, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, and Serbia effective as of January 1, 2018. In addition, he will continue as the managing director of Ponsse Ireland. Glendinning will be located at Ponsse’s offices in Lockerbie, Scotland. Gary Glendenning joined Ponsse in 1997, and during his time with the company to date has worked as a maintenance engineer and in managerial positions.

Tuomo Moilanen, 52, has taken over as Ponsse Plc’s area manager, effective as of September 1, 2017. He will be responsible for the German and Austrian sales areas, where Ponsse’s reseller is Wahlers Forsttechnik GmbH. Moilanen will also be responsible for forest company cooperation. Tuomo Moilanen transfers to his new position from his previous role as manager of forest company cooperation, which he has held since 2011. He will be working at the Kajaani office.

Ponsse area managers are responsible for developing sales and services in their respective market areas, and they report to sales and marketing director Jarmo Vidgrén.
