POLYTEC HOLDING AG: POLYTEC GROUP ACQUIRES THE DIVISION PLASTICS SOLUTIONS FROM VOESTALPINE GROUP

Hörsching (pta010/01.10.2014/08:00) - POLYTEC GROUP and voestalpine Group signed an agreement to acquire voestalpine Polynorm Van Niftrik and voestalpine Polynorm Plastics (collectively the Plastics Solutions Division) by POLYTEC Netherlands Holding B.V.

Both plants in Putte (NL) and Roosendaal (NL) realized in the business year 2013/14 with approx. 700 employees total sales of around EUR 120 million. Main products are underbody panels, acoustics components, exterior parts for commercial vehicles as well as non automotive parts. Main customers are the major European OEM´s.

With the acquisition of voestalpine Plastics Solution the POLYTEC GROUP is able to further expand its market position as the leading supplier of composite parts for the European Automotive Industry. Furthermore POLYTEC GROUP deepens its customer access with relevant customers.

After the successful acquisition, POLYTEC GROUP will have operations in 10 countries and 23 manufacturing facilities.

The closing of the transaction as well as the transfer of beneficial ownership is expected by the beginning of November 2014. The transaction is subject to the approval of the German Federal Cartel Office.
