Description

The securities of Polymetals Resources Ltd (‘POL’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of POL, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 8 September 2021 or when the announcement is released to the market.

REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT

Pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Polymetals Resources Limited (the Company, ASX :POL ) requests an immediate trading halt of its securities.

The reason for the trading halt is due to an announcement made overnight by the Republic of Guinea military that the government had been dissolved. No further details are available at this stage and the Company is seeking clarification of the potential implications that this may pose to its tenement projects within the country.

The Company expects that an update to the market should be made available by no later than prior to the commencement of trading on Wednesday 8th September 2021.

The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted, or of any other information necessary to inform the market regarding the trading halt.
