poLight ASA - LLVISION confirm releasing enterprise Augmented Reality glasses using TLens®

poLight ASA - LLVISION confirm releasing enterprise Augmented Reality glasses using TLens®

Horten, 4 April 2023 - poLight ASA (OSE: PLT) today announced that the company

has received confirmation that LLVISION is using TLens® autofocus solution in

their latest enterprise Augmented Reality (AR) glasses Leion Pro and is now

released for mass production. The target market for the glasses is enterprise

markets such as manufacturing, aviation, healthcare, education, financial

service and energy industry.

"The AR market is advancing through an important phase, and we expect to see

several companies releasing new AR head-worn devices in the coming years.

TLens® is being used and considered by several important AR market players in

their autofocus cameras. Although each enterprise AR case currently represents

small volumes, it will over time increase and eventually become a consumer AR

market with high volumes will follows suit. Establishing a strong position in

the early stage of deployment is key for future success of the company, "- said

Dr. Øyvind Isaksen, CEO of poLight ASA.

"TLens® has millisecond-level response time, which can provide fast auto

focusing and remote video streaming experience for AR devices that need to move

quickly, also allowing AI recognition results to be more accurate and quickly

displayed on AR near-eye screens. Also, the low power consumption while used in

continues autofocus mode or fixed focus is key for us. So far, we have delivered

the glasses to customers such as TBEA (an advanced energy devices manufacturer),

SANY Group (a construction machine manufacturer), Southern Airlines (an airline

company), and Agile8 (an AR solution company for healthcare in Australia). In

the future, we seek to strengthen cooperation with poLight and strive for

breakthroughs in cutting-edge technology research such as near-eye display

optical engine system and resizing resolution display system," - said Allan

Liang, co-founder of LLVISION.
