poLight ASA - purchase order received for mass production preparation for a surgical device

Horten, 20 August 2021 - poLight ASA (OSE: PLT) today announced that the company

has received a purchase order for TLens, including a custom assembly service, in

preparation for mass production of an ultra-compact surgical device under

development by a medical customer worth NOK 2.300.000.

"This purchase order gives us an exciting opportunity to expand into the medical

market segment for the first time. Our customer's surgical device that uses our

TLens AF enabled camera is still under development and changes may happen, but

as of now we are designed in and our customer's initial technical and market

trials have showed promising results ", said Dr. Øyvind Isaksen, CEO of poLight

ASA.

The order is expected to initiate delivery within Q1-2022.
