SUSPENSION FROM OFFICIAL QUOTATION
The securities of Coventry Resources Inc. (the “Company”) will be suspended from official quotation immediately at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement regarding a capital raising.

Request for Voluntary Suspension
In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.2, Coventry Resources Inc. (ASX:CYY) ( the Company ) requests a voluntary suspension of its securities pending the release of an announcement regarding a capital raising ( Financing ).
In accordance with Listing Rule 17.2, the Company provides the following information in relation to this request:

a trading halt in the trading of the Company’s securities was granted on Monday 10 July 2017, pending the release of an announcement regarding the Financing;
-
the Company has received significant expressions of interest from large institutional investors in UK and South East Asia to complete the Financing. The Company intends finalising those terms and securing firm commitments by 17 July 2017. This will also include commitments from Australian based investors;
-
the Company requests that the voluntary suspension remains in place until the earlier of release of the announcement or the commencement of trading on 17 July 2017; and
-
the Company is not aware of any reason why the voluntary suspension should not be granted by the ASX.
