Portfolio Management Arrangements

The Company's investment portfolio has, for some time, been jointly managed by three fund managers within Polar Capital's healthcare team. With effect from 1 August 2019 the portfolio will be managed by Gareth Powell and James Douglas while Daniel Mahony will move into a broader strategic role within Polar Capital's healthcare team.

The Board are supportive of these revisions. The Company's investment objective, which is to generate capital growth by investing in a global portfolio of growth and innovation healthcare stocks, is unchanged. The Company has a fixed life which is due to expire in early 2025.
