The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Strong growth of turnover and clear improvement of the result from ordinary activities in the first half of the year 2001. Compared to the same period in the previous year the Plambeck Neue Energien AG (WKN 69 10 32) has increased the total sales by more than 180 percent in the first half of the year 2001(1 January – 30 June). According to the preliminary figures the total sales are approximately 138 Mio. DM (2000: 48,9 Mio. DM; 1999: 19,1 Mio. DM). The result before taxes is expected to be about 10 Mio. DM (2000: 0,8 Mio. DM; 1999: 3,4 Mio. DM), even though this result is burdened by a planned depreciation of 4,1 Mio. DM (acc. to IAS) for the company value of the Norderland Nature Energy AG which was taken over in the previous year. With this the company growth is within plan. These figures do not allow linear projections, as the largest part of the windpark projects will be realized in the 3rd and 4th quarter. The increase is mainly based on the expansion of the core business with windpower as well as the realization of new projects in country.
