The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Ongoing Growth Continued strong growth of the total sales and clear improvement of the result in the first nine months of 2001: Compared to the same time period in 2000 the total sales were increased by 148% to DEM 199.3 m (compared time period 2000: DEM 80.3 m) in the first nine months (1 Jan – 30 Sept). Thus the total sales of the year 2000 (DEM 190.3 m) has already been exceeded. This increase is mainly based on the expansion of the core business with wind power in Germany as well as the business field biomass. The result before taxes for the first nine months is DEM 16 m (2000: DEM 3.4 m) even though the planned depreciation of the goodwill of DEM 6.2 m according to IAS for the Norderland Nature Energy, which was taken over last year, is included. At the end of the 3rd quarter the EBITDA is DEM 19.3 m compared to DEM 2.6 m in 2000. The growth continues in the 4th quarter.
