PNE WIND AG: New Management Board Member Appointed

Cuxhaven, November 30, 2015 – PNE WIND AG Supervisory Board member Per Hornung Pedersen has been appointed Chief Executive Officer.

The Supervisory Board decided at its meeting today, that the Supervisory Board member Mr. Per Hornung Pedersen, in accordance with § 105 para. 2 AktG, would be elected on an interim basis to the Management Board for the period from December 1, 2015 to the date of the Annual General Meeting of the Company on May 25, 2016. Mr. Pedersen will assume the function of CEO and the Management Board now consists once again of three members. For a short transitional period, COO Markus Lesser and CFO Jörg Klowat made up the entire board and with the addition of Mr. Pedersen the board is now comprised of three board members, which represents a long-standing practice at PNE WIND AG.

Per Hornung Pedersen, born in 1953, has gained many years of international experience in the wind energy sector. Benefiting not only from his experience gained as CEO of REpower Systems AG (today Senvion), his professional background is well suited to meet the operational and strategic tasks of the current wind industry sector. Mr. Pedersen has a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting, a Diploma in Auditing and Tax Law and an MBA. The Supervisory Board mandate of Per Hornung Pedersen is suspended for the duration of his Management Board function.

The Chairman of the Supervisory Board Alexis Fries commented: “We are delighted to have Mr. Per Hornung Pedersen with his many years of successful management experience gained in the wind energy sector as well as his experiences gained with intercultural management and with company growth and change. As the new Chief Executive Officer of PNE WIND AG, he will fully support the Company in its future development. This also provides the Supervisory Board with time to decide on a long-term solution for the future composition of the Management Board.”
