The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– plenum AG: After nine-month, revenues are up on previous year Wiesbaden, 25 November 2004 After three quarters and with a figure of EUR 31.4 million, plenum AG has achieved higher revenues than in the previous year (EUR 30.8 million). And for 2004 as a whole, the management board continues to anticipate an increase in turnover against the previous year’s figure. Provided that project contracts are awarded and/or completed as expected in December, with revenues of approximately EUR 41 million, a positive group result should be achieved for the financial year 2004. The management board has optimistic expectations for business development in the financial year 2005: currently, promising negotiations are under way with a number of customers with respect to large-scale projects for which plenum could take on respon-sibility as the main contractor. Following a sharp increase in turnover in the first two quarters, the third quarter turned out weaker than anticipated. Revenues of EUR 9.7 million fell short of the previous quarters (Q1: EUR 10.7 million; Q2: EUR 10.9 million). The flexible cost structure nevertheless ensured a positive EBITDA of around EUR 0.2 million and a mildly positive group result of EUR 0.05 million in the third quarter. Overall, after nine month, the group recorded a loss of around EUR 0.2 million (previous year: group net income of EUR 0.3 million), which resulted from the first quarter.
